bluedesignwall:

My run this morning was wind assisted a little but mostly I felt like I was running into it most of the way. It was not a warm wind either. Oh well, run done and now it is time for some post lunch stitching.

Progress. Just the last boarder to go and I might do a wee bit of free motion in the corners, maybe.

bonniekhunter:

I took a lot of photos of quilts I loved at the #festivalofquilts in Birmingham. My favorite by far were in the exhibit by the French quilters guild. The lady you see here hand pieced and hand quilted this beautiful quilt. I love being a traditional quilter! These quilts make my heart sing and leap for joy! :-)  (at Festival of Quilts, Birmingham NEC)

downerpress:

this is the round robin quilt after my addition of a crane based border. i just loved the birds, and thought the grey was too pretty not to use. i don’t know though; it might not match well enough.

X plus quilt progress: Quilt top complete!

Fun fact: there are 1,197 individual pieces in this quilt top in 24 different fabrics (10 solids and 14 prints)!

This weekend will assemble a back for it, then press, baste and quilt!
