The pattern for the Kaleidoscope Quilt from this post can be found and downloaded FREE here.

It’s a Robert Kaufman pattern with 3 design variations. The Permission to Play variation is the one most similar to the original I’m falling madly in love with. :)

Pretty damn close to me! Still has the same circular affect with the lights and darks.

The name Permission to Play jumped out at me because it is the name of a local group that gives free fiber arts/quilt classes to cancer survivors.

Work in process.  Just in case you ever wondered - yes, it is a PITA to quilt with satin!  One of the reasons I don’t sew clothes or home dec stuff.  Cotton is sooo much easier.  But satin was the only way to get the sheen that I wanted.  (and ideally the grey woulda been velvet, but I wasn’t going there.)
Anywhoo - I’m pretty pleased with how it’s looking so far.  Not sure how I’m gonna end up quilting it, but that’s a decision for another day.
