jbe200quilts: 12” Eight Hands Round pieced block.  Also known as Star in a Star Hi friends, I got to spend some time with the quilts today.  I’m working on a scrappy sampler made with fabrics designed by Marcia Derse, MD Designs Studio.  I have been overwhelmed by work and it has been way too long since I’ve had time to dig in my stash and cut and piece a quilt block.  And let’s not forget -do some bitchin’ about my iron that leaks.  Why, oh why, can they not make a good iron that doesn’t leak?  This is all terribly soothing and I’ve been craving this comfort for a while now.  It’s been a great day hanging with my felines and creating.  Love to all,  Jane The fabrics are so dramatic!
